Cooking Tip
Storing Tomatoes
Do not store tomatoes in the refrigerator instead store them in a bowl or basket on the kitchen counter. Cold makes tomatoes soft and ruins their flavor.

Cooking Tip
Basil

There is no substitute for basil in a recipe. The taste is like no other herb. Substituting dried basil when a recipe calls for fresh will definitely change the taste of the finished dish, and this is not necessarily a bad thing.
